Arizona

I escaped the cold and never ending winter here in Indiana for a few days to visit my parents in Arizona. Despite the short trip we were able to get a few hikes in and drive the entire Apache Trail. It was my first time taking only my small Fuji x100s camera and leaving my main Canon gear at home which ended up being a good decision as I'm really enjoying slowing down and shooting with the camera. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from the trip west.

I spent a few days out in Phoenix Arizona visiting my parents and was able to get out and shoot a few images near their home.

I took a quick trip with my wife this past weekend to Arizona to visit my parents who just moved to Scottsdale. I was able to shoot a few images during the short time we had. One of the things I love about Arizona is that the climate and scenery varies so much in a short time. Cactus and palm trees in Phoenix, snow, mountains, and red rock, a couple hours north in Sedona. I'm sure I'll be visiting often and I am looking forward to exploring the rest of the state.
